It was a shame that while the Pope was here he couldn’t save the democratic primary. This is starting to wear on everyone, I just hope the voters in Pennsylvania will just be done with it and do the right thing and elect Obama. The last thing we all need is two more months of this bickering.

You know one of the things I may have enjoyed best about the Holy Father’s visit and watching it on TV? We were spared a few days of the 2008 McSoap Opera that IS the election… I am all for news coverage, but I noticed weeks ago that the media was wagging the dog on this one to make it high drama and even – perhaps – influence the electorate’s mood enough to keep it “interesting longer”…
